We are the UberNoobers, representatives of Al-Noor Academy, a small private Islamic school in Mansfield MA. We've competed in MIST for 7 years and have carved our name in its history as the all-time champions. The upcoming months prior to MIST become very chaotic and stressful, but as a team, we work together to overcome any barrier in our path to victory. However, MIST is something we anticipate greatly. It provides for us the oppurtunity to meet unfamiliar Muslims of different cultures and ethnicities. It also allows for us to expand our knowledge about our deen. As a team we enjoy competing in MIST because it is a time when we can represent ourselves as a whole. MIST is a place of euphoria. 

 

At this point, we feel it is essential to note that our beloved teacher and MIST mentor of many years, Sister Siham Yagoubi, has elected to retire from the rigors of MIST leadership. We will miss her calm direction in the face of the most pressing crisis, and we all know the stress of that! We wish Sister Siham good health and Iman, and send her on her way with our deepest 

Jazaki Allahu Khairan !

 

Our Mission:

Our mission is to compete in MIST with honor and respect, and become more aware of Islam. Moreover, we should bring out our creativity and leadership through a team effort, and show integrity and Islamic characteristics in our actions. Also, as Muslims we must show our trust and honesty through these competitions and swear to respect all others in MIST and ourselves. Through these morals of teamwork, respect, and generosity we believe that success will come.
